Two reccomendations: Peanut Flour and Dashing Dish

Have you heard of Peanut Flour or PB2?


I first learned about this product from author and founder of Dashing Dish, Katie Farrell.  I love perusing Katie’s site for recipes because she is so creative and inspirational.  Katie has developed a recipe for AMAZING shakes (like smoothies).  You can add pretty much anything to them to alter the taste.  I really enjoy adding peanut flour, banana, and strawberry for a “PB&J” type shake.

So what exactly is Peanut Flour/Peanut Butter Powder?

Peanut Flour is made with premium quality peanuts that are slow-roasted to our specifications and pressed to remove the fat.  Peanut Flour  is all natural with no artificial sweeteners or preservatives.  Peanut flour has the same consistency as full-fat peanut butter with all of the roasted peanut flavor, but with more than 85% less fat calories.  Per serving (two tablespoons) Peanut flour has only 45 calories, compared to 190 in regular creamy peanut butter.

Besides making delicious smoothies and shakes, peanut flour can also be used to make delicious recipes like protein pancakes and chicken in peanut sauce
