Getting Back on Track

Did you have a nice Christmas? I had one of the best Christmases of my adult life. Last night my mom, dad, and I went to the movies (This is 40) and then had steak and potatoes for dinner.  Today we just lazed around and had ham, cheesy potatoes, and Hawaiian rolls for lunch/dinner and tonight are watching Breaking Bad.  A super untraditional but perfect Christmas.

I am hoping that my crazy vacation eating didn’t cause too much damage.  I was able to get to the gym three or four times and cut my portions while eating out. I am horrible at moderation.  I am better at just eliminating foods like sugar and fat from my diet.  Once I start to eat crap I just continue doing so and can feel myself spiraling out of control.  The best I can do is just catch myself early and get back on track as soon as possible.

I can tell that I have had way too much sugar and coffee the past few days and am ready to start detoxing and hit the gym tomorrow.  I am looking forwarding to getting back to Weight Watchers and losing weight again.  I was on a roll and know with some hard work I will be shedding pounds once again.  I am considering getting a personal trainer because I know I would workout harder and get better results.

Hope you had a tasty and wonderful holiday.

Peace and Love,
