My name is Amber and I am glad you found Baby Steps to a Better Life!

My blog tells the story of my life, including a journey to a happier, healthier, confident version of myself.

I started using Weight Watchers as a means to get my life back, which is exactly what has happened over the past year.  Instead of taking a nap after work, I run.  The small changes I have implemented in my life have made me a better version of myself.

I am still in the midst of my journey, but have chosen to start this blog to write about all the wonderful things that happen once I opened myself up to them and actually put some blood, sweat, and tears into activities and events that I found to be valuable and important.

I currently live in Tempe Arizona and work for a large university, but will soon be moving on to a new job in a new city. I have wonderful friends and family, can’t live without coffee, and love to try new things.
